Backser arcade boxing machines, 2026 range with scoreboard and LED lighting

Backser boxing machines in action

A spec sheet is one thing; seeing the machine working with people in front of it is another. These are real venues and events where our boxing machines are installed, filmed just as they happened.

What is an arcade boxing machine

An arcade boxing machine, also called a strength tester or punching machine, is an attraction that measures the power of a punch and turns it into a score shown on a scoreboard. The customer pays for the play, punches the bag and sees the result instantly. It needs no staff and runs continuously in your venue.

How the strength meter works

The bag is mounted on an arm with a sensor. When it is punched, the electronic board translates the force of the impact into points and shows them on the scoreboard, which reaches 999 or 3,000 points depending on the model. The difficulty levels, eight in the metal range and nine in the fibreglass range, adjust the scoring scale to suit the audience.

Payment system: coin mechanism and card terminal

All models except the kids’ machine come with a coin mechanism and accept an optional card terminal for card and mobile payments. Combining the two avoids the most common reason for a lost play: the customer not having coins on them.

Where to install a strength tester: bars, pubs, fairs and arcades

A machine for bars works best the more visible it is from the entrance and the more free space it has around it to punch safely. At 70 cm wide, the metal and multiplayer models fit in a corner next to the bar; the combos need 100 cm and are best given a whole wall.

Bars, pubs and nightlife venues

This is the most common destination. A group that is already ordering drinks plays several times in a row, especially if the machine is multiplayer and the scores stay on screen to be compared.

Fairs, events and festivals

At a fair or event, visual impact matters more than discretion: the models with a large-format top and full LED lighting attract the most people in a venue with other attractions around.

Arcades and family areas

In an arcade, the boxing machine sits alongside the other arcade machines and adds the physical element the others lack. In family areas, the kids’ version lets children play with an adapted scale.

Spare parts and maintenance

Spare parts are available for the whole range: punch bags, electronic boards, coin mechanisms, polycarbonate screens and decorative elements. The bag is the usual wear part, and the 4 mm polycarbonate screen is what stops a misdirected punch from hitting the scoreboard. To order a part, just give us the model reference. Frequently asked questions about boxing machines

How much does a boxing machine cost?

In the Backser 2026 catalogue, prices range from €2,490 in the basic metal range to €4,490 for the punch and kick combos. The fibreglass multiplayer models are between €2,750 and €3,500. Shipping costs are on request, depending on the delivery address.

What is the difference between a basic and a multiplayer boxing machine?

The basic one shows the punch score and clears it straight away. The multiplayer keeps the scores of up to six players on screen at the same time, which lets friends compare results and strings together more plays per group. In addition, the basic one has a metal cabinet and eight difficulty levels, while the multiplayer has a fibreglass cabinet and nine levels.

How is the machine paid for, with coins or with a card?

All models except the Peque Boxer kids’ machine accept a coin mechanism for €1 and €2 coins and, optionally, a terminal for card and mobile payments, at extra cost. Credits per coin are adjusted on the board.

How much space do I need to install it in a bar?

The metal and multiplayer models take up 70 cm in width, with a depth of 120 cm at the base and between 110 and 120 cm at the top. Height ranges from 210 to 225 cm depending on the model, so it’s worth measuring the doors it will go through. The combos need 100 cm of width.

Do you ship boxing machines abroad?

Yes. We ship from our headquarters in Cabanillas del Campo (Guadalajara, Spain). Shipping costs depend on the delivery address, so we calculate them in each quote, with no obligation.

Are spare parts available?

Yes, there are spare parts for the whole range: punch bags, boards, coin mechanisms, screens and decorative elements. Order them by quoting the model reference; we also ship them internationally.

Does the machine need staff?

No. Once installed and plugged in, it runs by itself: the customer inserts a coin or pays with the terminal, throws the punch and the scoreboard returns the score. The only regular maintenance is collecting the takings and checking the bag from time to time.
